Amazon.com has two programs that you
can sign up for to sell your products at online at their
website, Professional and Individual.
Professional:
With the
Porfessional program you can sell your
products on amazon.com by signing up for their program that
charges $39.99 per month (+ other fees) to sell more than 40
items per month.
You will be required to provide the
following pieces of information when you fill out the online
applicataion.
- Your business name,
address and contact information - An
internationally-chargeable credit card with valid billing
address
- A phone number where you can be
reached - Your tax identity information
(Tax ID)
Individual:
With the
Individual program you will be charged
$0.99 (plus fees) every time you sell an item.
You
will be required to provide the following pieces of
information when you fill out the online application.
- Your business name,
address and contact information - An
internationally-chargeable credit card with valid billing
address
- A phone number where you can be
reached - No Tax ID required
How It Works:
After you sign up and upload your
listing, customers place orders and amazon.com notifies you.
You then ship the items to customers and amazon
collects the payment and transfer money to your bank
account.
