To grow the business you have to seek other areas to expand to.  Don't be comfortable with your current situation.  Change is the only constant in the universe.  One day your current customer base could change their taste and you could be out of business.  To avoid this you should seek other areas in which you could expand the business.

SBIR/STTR:

The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program is a program run by the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) that gives small businesses the opportunity to come up with technology solutions to solve problems for the Department of Defense but.  These solutions must also have high commercialization potential in the private sector. 

There are funding programs in place to help with financing the research and development of products in this program.  Every year $1 billion in research funding is set aside for this program and $31 billion in commercialized technologies.

Government Contracting:

Contracting with the government represents an enormous opportunity to expand your small business.  The government buys products and services in the tens of billions of dollars every year.  There a set-aside programs for minority, veterans owned and women owned businesses.  Government at all levels (city, county, state and federal) obtain products and serivces through their respective government contracting programs.
