How Do You Get Your Products Into Krogers:

 

Kroger:  Kroger is the largest grocery retailer in the U.S.  It also owns Dillons, FredMeyer, Fry's Food Stores, Quality Food Centers (QFC), Ralphs and Smith'sThey  have 2,435 stores in the US and is headquartered in downtown Cincinnati, OH. 

Products Categories:

Their product categories include: deli & bakery, adult beverage, floral, fresh produce, jewelry, gifts, healty & beauty, meats, natural foods, pets, pharmacy, meats & seafood, etc.


Vendor Program:

To become a supplier to their stores you have to:

-   complete their Standar Vendor Agreement form and return it to a local Kroger Representative.

-  then wait for a response. 

 

Requirements:

-  You are required to have a $3,000,000 General Liability and Product Liability insurance coverage and a $2,000,000 Auto Liability policy.

-  Be capable of transmitting documents via EDI, GlobalNetXchange (TNX), fax, email or paper format.  EDI is the preferred method of transmission.  However, if you chose not to use and EDI service Krogers will charge $150.00 for manual processing. 

-  All products must have a UPC or GTIN barcode.

Kroger also provides a Minority Supplier Diversity program to give minority businesses easier access to organization.
