How Do You Get Your Products Into Publix:

 

Publix:  Publix is a major super market chain that operates in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennesssee.  It has 1,072 retail locations.  It is headquartered in Lakeland, FL.

Their product categories include: baby care, baking, beverages, canned goods, cerals, dairy products, dressings, frozen products, grains, household products, meats, poultry, produce, sauces, snacks, etc.

 

Vendor Program:

To become a supplier to Publix you have to first be pre-qualified.  If you wish to become a Publix Retail Product Supplier you must complete the Publix 7 steps.   

1.     Provide physical and financial information about your product(s) by completing a Publix Cost/Promotion Form and a Publix Item Data Form.

2.     Complete a Vendor New Item Initiative Form. It ask for your target audience, marketing resources, product launch information and marketing information.

3.     Complete the  Bio-Terrorism Act - Product Sample Form if your product will be consumed by human or other living creatures.    

4.     Use the Corporate Purchasing Contact List to identify the Corporate Purchasing Buyer responsible for managing the product category.

5.     Schedule an appointment by completing an Appointment Request Form

6.     Submit the product forms listed above and the product samples.   You can drop it off at the Corporate Office to the receptionist or mail it to the appropriate Buyer.

7.     The Buyer or the Buyer's administrative associate will contact the supplier regarding the information presented.
