Vendor Program:

In order to become a vendor/supplier for Safeway you follow these procedures. 

- Contact them at the address below and provide the following information:  a short background of your company which includes its size, location, geographic distribution point; a description of the company’s primary business address; your company’s diversity and corporate responsibility programs; and a current listing of retail accounts in which your product is retailed.

- They will then provide you with the Consumer Demand (CD) or Strategic Sourcing Representtive  (SSR) for your specific product type.

- If the CD or SSR are interested in your product they will provide you with additional information and procedures.  You may be asked to sign a Non-disclosure Agreement prior to a meeting with Safeway representatives.

 - Other requirements to become a supplier for Safeway includes: 

o complete the General Information for Vendors Form;                        o   sign the Continuing Commodity Guaranty and Indemity Agreement/Terms and Conditions Form; and o    sign a Certificate of Liability Insurance and the Broad Form Vendor’s Endorsement form.
