How Do You Get Your Products Into Sears/K-Mart:

K-Mart/Sears:  The Sears Holding Corporation owns K-Mart and Sears.  Sears is a mid-range department store chain.  It operates 2,172 full-line and 1,338 specialty retail stores in the U.S. and 500 in Canada.  It is headquarters in Hoffman Estates, IL.

Vendor Program:

They offer two programs to get your products sold by Sears/K-Mart.  You can Sell Through Sears or you can Sell On Sears.

 

Sell On Sears (website):  This program allows your items to show up as products on www.Sears.com and be purchased through their secure checkout process  including their fraud protection services. When your items are sold, Sears will alert you and you will ship items to customers. After you ship items, you will invoice Sears and they will pay you to your bank account. There is a monthly fee of $39.99 and a commission based on your type of product.  (Registration form).

 

Sell Through Sears:  You ship the products you want to sell on www.sears.com to one of their warehouses. Once it arrives, it is inventoried, stored, and fulfill any orders via their distribution system. They will pay you (minus a commission fee) via a direct deposit into a bank account. There is a monthly fee of $39.99 and storage fees start at $0.45/cu. ft.  (Registration form).

 

The second program lets you become a supplier to the Sears Holding Corporation.  You have to complete the Prospective Supplier Profile Form and submit it with supporting documents via email: prospective_vendors@searshc.com.

Sears also has a Supplier Diversity program to bring minority and veteran owned businesses into their supply chain.
