New Requirement for Childcare Industry

Beginning this January businesses in the State of Illinois in the childcare industry will have a new requirement if they want to stay open.

A new law (Public Act 099-0267) goes into effect that requires any childcare facility that cares for children ages 6 and under require their employees to provide proof of certain vaccination.  They include:

 

Two(2) doses of the Measles Mumps and Rubella (MMR)

One(1) dose of the Tetanus shot

One(1) dose of the Diphtheria immunization

One(1) dose of the Pertussis vaccine (Tdap)
