Angel Venture Forum The Angel Venture Forum is an ad hoc group of more than 30 active, experienced angel investors from more than 24 angel investor groups located throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. This gives Veteran Entrepreneurs the opportunity to meet a large number of angel investors at one time. At least once a year they hold a "Veterans Venture Forum" which gives Veteran entrepreneurs the opportunity to meet and pitch to investors. Bunker Labs Bunker Labs provides education, and mentoring in addition to funding.  Their investor network consists of angel investors, venture capitalists and institutional-lending partners.
Founders First Capital Partners, LLC Founders First Capital Partners, LLC program provides funding and business acceleration support to underserved markets. We focus on businesses led by women, ethnic minorities, military veterans or businesses located in low to moderate income areas.

Hivers & Strivers Hivers and Strivers is an Angel Investment Group focusing on early stage investments to support start-up companies founded and run by graduates of the U.S. Military Academies. In addition to investing capital the invest their time and serve as Board Members, Advisors and help open doors. They provide financing from $250,000 to $1,000,000.
Illinois Business Invest Loans

Support Veteran Owned Businesses or that may be affected by the call up of a Reservist to active Duty.  Loans can be made in the amount of up to $250,000.  Repayment term is 2 years with the possibility of a 3-year extension.  Interest is 1%.

Maine Veteran Small Business Loans

The State of Maine provides loans to Veteran Small Businesses through the Maine Finance Authority.

Maryland - Military Personnel and Service-Disabled Veteran No-Interest Loan Program

Loans made by the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development and the  Maryland Department of Veteran Affairs to support Veteran Owned Businesses or other businesses that may be affected by the call up of a Reservist to active Duty.   Loans are made in the amount of $1,000 to $5,000.  Repayment terms is 1-8 years with no interest.  Guarantees and collateral may be required.

MBE Capital Call This organization educates, promotes, and supports investment in minority business enterprises through annual conferences, local seminars, and venture forums specifically designed to empower minority, women and disabled veteran-owned  businesses. 
Minnesota Reservist and Veterans Business Loan Program

Loans provided by the State of Minnesota to Reservists to alleviate business hardship due to the call up of an employee who is a Reservist. Loans are also for Veterans who return from active duty and want to start their own business.  Loans are in the amount of $5,000 to $20,000.  The repayment terms are 54 months with no repayment in the first 18 months.  There is no interest.

SBA Patriot Express

The Small Business Administration (SBA) has unveiled a program called “Patriot Express” that offers a wide variety of assistance to veterans interested in setting up or expanding their own small businesses.  Use it for startup cost, equipment purchases, real estate purchases, inventory, etc.  Qualify for loans between 2.25 percent and 4.75 percent over the prime interest rate.

SBA Express & Pilot Program

The SBA offer streamlined and expedited loan procedures for particular groups of borrowers, notably active duty military personnel, veterans, and borrowers from distressed communities.  In addition to receiving a short review period (36 hours) you also get a lower interest rate.  Community Express Loans: up to $25,000 and geared towards undeveloped areas.  Patriot Express Loans:  2.2% - 4.5% interest rates.  Used for startup cost, inventory, equipment purchased, infusion working capital, etc.  Gain access to this loan by going through the local SBA office.

SBA - Military Reservist Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program (MREIDL)

Loans provided by the SBA to Reservists to alleviate business hardship due to the call up of an employee who is a Reservist.  Loans are only offered if the individual cannot be financed through any other means.  Loan is provided in the amount up to $2,000,000.  The term is 30 years.  The interest rate is 4%.  Collateral is required for loans above $50,000.  You will be requird to obtain insurance for the life of the loan for any loan above $50,000.

Street Shares Street Shares offers loans to Veterans in the amount of up to $75,000.  The approval process is fast.
TCP Venture Capital The Veterans’ Opportunity Fund is a multi-stage venture capital fund that was formed to invest in veteran-owned businesses in need of growth capital.
The National Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce - Hispanic Veteran Entrepreneur Training Invites veteran with entrepreneural aspirations to participants will complete a three day course that provides an introduction to the entrepreneurial process.
Union Bank Offers "Business Diversity Lending Loan" specifically designed to assist woman-, minority-, and/or veteran-owned businesses with their financing needs.
USDA Farm Loan Program

If you want to get into the farming business or you are already in the farming business, the USDA offers a range of Farm Loans that you can use to start or grow your business.

Veteran Business Fund (VBF) An organization that receives funding from donors to support veteran owned businesses.  It provides supplemental funding and access to financing.
VeteranCrowd Veteran Crowd is a marketplace for Veteran entrepreneurs to raise capital for their small businesses.  The site matches qualified investors with Veteran owned companies seeking funding.  Click on the "RAISE CAPITAL" menu link and fill out the inquiry form to get started.

Veterans' Opportunity Fund The Veterans’ Opportunity Fund is a multi-stage venture capital fund that was formed to invest in veteran-owned businesses in need of growth capital.  They focus on early stage technology companies in the East coast.
Wisconsin Department of Veteran Affairs

The Wisconsin Department of Veteran Affairs have a loan program called the Personal Loan Program (PLP).  Money can be used for any purpose.  Loans range from  $5,000 to $50,000, with a 3-10 year repayment term.  Interest rate is 4.90%.  Veterans and their spouses can apply.

Wounded Warrior Project Grant The Wounded Warrior Project Grant is awarded to non-profit Veteran owned businesses in the amount of up to $250,000.  Applications are accepted in the Spring each year.
