What Is A Small Business?

Upcoming Small Business Events

According to the Small Business Administration (SBA) a small business is defined either by their annual revenue or the number of employees.  This determination is based on the type of industry.

For example, some companies can have up to 1,500 employees and still be classified as a small business while others can only have up to 100.

Some companies are only allowed to have up to $750,000 in assets to be classified as a small business while others such as banks can have up to $175,000,000.

To find out if your business classifies as a small business visit the SBA's website.
