You can generate lots of leads from having a Blog.  All of your followers are potential leads.  Create a blog on an interesting topic and generate a following.  Then use those followers as potential leads.  Create a sign-up page on your blog where followers can leave contact information.

Twitter:

 

Twitter is a great tool for generating leads.  You can develop a large following on twitter very quickly.  Also, because of the way tha twitter works you can even reach people who are not actively following you through those who are actively following you.  You can reach the followers of those who follow you.  You can also reach people who are interested in a specific subject simply by using the hashtag (#) feature.  If you don’t have a twitter account get one now and start growing your audience and generating leads.

 

LinkedIn:

 

LinkedIn has a Sales Navigator tool that lets you reach its over 430 million member network to generate sales leads.  Visit the webpage and sign in to view a demo.

 

Networking Events:

 

If you haven’t attended networking evnets in the past, you should start now.  This is another effective way to generate leads.  At these events you get to meet people face-to-face and exchange contact information.  All of those business cards are leads that you can reach out to later on.  Networking events for the most part cost nothing.  At these events you get to meet a broad spectrum of people with varying backgrounds.

 

Webinars:

 

Webinars are online presentations that you make on specific topics.  Anyone from anywhere in the world can sign up and view the webinar.  Everyone that sign up and view the webinar provide contact information that is a great source for generating leads.  Make your webinars a recurring event on topics that are helpful to customers.  Use social media to promote it.
