Amazon Prime for Business

Amazon is offering businesses the opportunity to sign up for “Amazon Prime for Businesses”.

What is Amazon Prime? 

Amazon Prime is a service provided by that cost $99 per year or $10.99 per month which gives you FREE Two-Day Shipping for eligible purchases, unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows with Prime Video, and the ability to borrow books from the Kindle Owners' Lending Library.  Prime members enjoy a 30-minute head start on Amazon's Lightning Deals.  Also, get special deals during Amazon's annual sales extravaganza, known as Prime Day, you can save even more. At 6 p.m. PT on July 10 and continuing on for the next 30 hours.  Same-day delivery is available in eligible ZIP codes, and in select cities, you can get 1-hour delivery for thousands of products at local stores.

Now Amazon is offering businesses the same benefit under “Amazon Prime for Business”.

Amazon Business comes with its own shipping deals. You get free two-day shipping on orders of $49 or more. You also get improved order tracking and Amazon's tax exemption program.

There are two ways you can get Amazon Prime for Business.

1.  Extend Amazon Prime form Personal Account:  If you have an Amazon Prime membership on your personal account, you can extend your Prime shipping benefit to your Amazon Business user account for all eligible orders, with no change to your personal Prime benefits. This benefit is intended for single-user business accounts.


2.  Add Prime on your Business User account:  A Prime membership can be purchased by a single Amazon Business user account. If an Amazon Business user purchases Prime, that user will have access to Prime benefits, but other individuals within the Amazon Business account will not—unless they also hold their own Amazon Prime membership.

Also added is the ability to give your employees Prime Shipping.  With Business Prime Shipping for multi-user business customers, so you can pick from multiple shipping options to suit your business needs. Business Prime Shipping offers fast Two-Day Shipping for every user on your business account. It’s a great way to give your employees the service, convenience, and control they need to succeed.
