I have a medium size business with 25-50 employees in one location.  Our organization work with large databases which requires a large amount of storage.  I want all employees to have access to the database and share files and printing, along with Internet access.  I am operating on a small IT budget.

The solution to this problem is to setup a server based wired and wireless network with a large capacity storage solution and Internet connection.

The combination of a wired and wireless network will keep cost low and provide faster transmission speeds when client computers communicate with the server and access data.

A separate data storage solution will enable the server to function more efficiently as it perform its role in performing authentication, serve as a file and print server, database management and a DNS server, etc.  The data server can focus on its primary role of storing and serving up the data when it is needed.

Subscribe to a local Internet service and use a Wireless Access Point (WAP) and a Router.
